Part 5

"I am still here, what’s the time ?" Angel asked. They were still in bed. He looked at the small clock on the table next to the bed. "It’s half past seven, so it’s still early" Buffy said. For a moment they were quiet as they both tried to figure out what to say next. "Well at least it looks like they stopped arguing downstairs" buffy said with a little smile. "Yes looks like it", Angel replied. "I really should go", Buffy said and she stepped out of the bed and started to find here clothes on the floor. Then she felt him crawling up from behind her. He put his arms around her. "Please, you don’t have to go yet, he begged, you still look a bit tired". Then she was pulled back into his arms and she layed her head on his chest. "Try to get some more sleep". Buffy closed here eyes and within two minutes she had fallen asleep again.

Suddenly she woke up. A cold breeze made here shiffer. The window in the bedroom was open. "Angel ?" Buffy whispered. No response. "Had Angel left ?", she wondered. Then she heard a small moaning sound coming from with in the room, but she was yet unable to figure out where it came from. Quickly she slipped in to her pants and shirt and walked slowly towards the bathroom. "Angel ?" she wisphered again. But again no responds. Carefully she opened the bathroom room. Water slowly dripped from the sink and the curtain in front of the bath was closed. As she walked towards the bath she heard the moaning sound again, but softer this time. Quickly she opened the curtain, the bath was empty. She walked back in to the bedroom, and closed the window. When she looked outside she saw the moon being almost completely black orange. "Allright, best thing for me to do now, is go downstairs to see if anyone was still there and asked if they had already made any progress", she thought

As she walked towards the door to go downstairs she heard the moaning sound again. Softly she opened the door. There was noone in the hall. As she stepped outside something hit her hard on the head. She looked up to see who had done this but everything was blurred. She tried to shout for help, but her voice seemed to have lost power. All she could make was soft moaning sounds. Then everything went black and she lost consiousness.

As she slowly opened her eyes again, she was no longer in the hall. She was even not in Giles’s apartment anymore. Everything looked blacker now, whereever she was. "She is waking up" she heard a familiar voice saying. Her sight was still blurred but she could recognize some bright colors in front of her. She tried to move, but quickly she figured out that that was impossible, as she was tied up to a chair. "Where am I" she wondered. "Evac fo tros emos ni era ew" she heard a soft voice saying next to her. "Giles, are you ok ?" ko ma I" the voice next to her said. She tried to struggle free from the ropes around here wrists again, Then she felt a needle was put slowly into her arm. For a moment she saw a bright light flashing in front of her and the she lost consiousness again.

In Giles’s apartment Xander, Anya and Cordelia woke up. Xander looked around Giles’s apartment, trying to figure out where he was. Chairs lay all over the room, glasses were smashed on the ground, Giles’s telephone looked like it had exploded and all of Giles’s books were ripped apart. Anya and Cordelia were in the other corner of the apartment.

Xander tried to get up, but his legs refused to cooperate. "Cordelia, are you ok", he asked. Then for a moment he heard a loud moaning sound coming from upstairs. Cordelia stood up, and cleaned her dress. "What happened" , she asked. "I really have no idea", Xander said as he tried to get to the two girls, avoiding all the glass on the ground. "Look at my dress, it’s all smoochy and torn, Xander Harris, this is all you’re fault", Cordelia said. Anya stood up and felt like the whole world was turning around her. Slowly she walked towards Xander. "Anya, are you allright ?", Xander asked. "I feel like I have the worst hangover since years, and I don’t even drink" Anya said. When she reached Xander she lost all control over her legs and fell in Xander’s arms. "What happened, and where are Giles and Buffy ?", she asked. "You better sit down", Xander said. "This looks bad, we have to find them". Suddenly the door was rushed open and Riley ran into the room. "What happened here" he wanted to know. "Did you play a Xena episode ?". "Riley, man am I glad to see you, Buffy and Giles are missing", Xander said. Cordelia had gone upstairs to look for Buffy and Giles. "Noone is upstairs too", she said. "But I found this". She showed the big piece of wood, that looked like a baseball bat. She gave the it to Riley, and he quickly inspected it. "I see no traces of blood on it. "What are we gonna do now", Anya asked. "I will patrol " Riley said. "To see if I can find a trace of them, Anya and Xander, you look into Giles’s books". Xander picked up a ripped book from the ground, and showed it to Riley. "Ok, Riley said, go to the library then, and see if you can find anything on this weird moon, I have a feeling this has something to do with this". "Someone has to stay here in case they come back", Xander said. "I wil stay here", Cordelia quicly proposed. "We’ll meet here again in 2 hours"., Riley said. Then as quickly as she had entered the apartment he also left again. "We all know what we have to do, come on Anya, let’s go to the library", Xander said. He and Anya left. "Oh this is great" Cordelia thought. "Why is this always happening to me ?" . "Me and my visions, I hope still will be over soon".

Riley walked straight to the cementary. As he reached it, he grabbed into his pocket to get his stake, a small wooden cross and a small gun out. He past two graves and walked towards two others, when he heard a sound a someone softly moaning. As he walked towards the sound a demon came out of nowhere and attacked him. The demon hit Riley on the arm and the stake and the cross fell on the ground. Quickly Riley turned and saw the demon coming towards him again. This time he was prepared for it, and he fell on the ground and lifted the demon over him, landing the demon on a grave stone. The soft moaning went over into a very hard moan. Then a second demon attacked Riley, but before he could reach Riley he shot him in the chest and the demon fell down. "One down, one to go" Riley thought. As he stood up again to see where the other demon had gone, the demon attacked him from behind. Riley’s chest crushed as the demon pulled out all the air from his chest. Riley was lifted up and he kicked in the air with his feet. He kicked behind him and hit the demon. Riley’s move made the demon moan hard again and Riley could get lose. He was trown on the ground. Riley thought the demon would attack him again, but instead the demon left in a hurry. Riley’s chest really hurt bad and he took a moment to get his breath back. Then he heard another sound. "Well well, look who’s here", Spike said as he entered the site, lauging at him as he lighted up a sigarette. "Who are you, and what do you want from me", Riley asked. He reached on the ground to get his stake and his cross back. "Something really funny has happened. An old friend of mine has returned and he will help me get this bloody chip out, and then we will both kill you’re precious little slayer girlfriend and the old librarian", Spike said. Riley quickly picked up the cross and held it right in front of Spike’s face. Spike looked at Riley intensively. His face changed. "I have to go now, sorry no time for chitchat", Spike said and he left. Riley waited for about minute to think about what Spike had said, and then he ran back to Giles Apartment.

"Now that’s what I call fun", Spike said as he reentered the cave where he and Angelus held Buffy and Giles prisoned. Buffy had woken up from her conscinous again and she looked around the cave. She and Giles were still tightened to a chair. She could see a shadow standing on the other side of the cave. "Angel", she moaned. Then as he lighted up another sigarette, she saw Spikes’s face.

Angel turned around and looked at her. "Well, well, look who is awake now", he said.

"Spike, I knew it was you", Buffy said. "Now now, watch that language, little girl", Spike said, "You are in no position to argue this time, now are you ?". "What you want, Spike ?", Buffy asked and what has Angel got to do with this ?" "Do you really think I am stupid enough, to tell you ?", Spike said.

"Niaga riepvam a otni legnA nrut dna devomer pihc sih teg annog si eH", Buffy heard a voice beside here saying. "Oh my God, Giles", are you allright ? ". "thgirlla ma I", Giles said. Buffy was confused. "Giles, what are you saying". He is right you know", Spike said. "You mean you can make sense in what he is saying ?", Buffy asked. "Off course I can, and so can you, but not now. Perhaps I’ll explain to you later", Spike said. Then he turned his back on her and walked to the other side of the cave.

"Angel, what’s happening", Buffy asked. Angel turned around and looked at her, but there wasn’t any expression on his face. "You’ll find out soon enough", he said, "Come on Spike, let’s visit some friends". Then he and Spike left.

Buffy looked around her, what could she do ?. She didn’t know where she was, and why she was brought here. She looked to her right and turned to Giles. "Think Buffy, think", she said to herself. "What had happened before ?". They were in Giles’s apartment and she and Angel had gone upstairs.

But that’s all she could remember. "Giles, do you kno what is going on", she asked. ", but Giles just sat there with his eyes closed, and did not seem to hear her. She jumped with her chair towards him, just close enough that she could reach him. "What have they done to him", she wondered. Then she heard another sound of footsteps walking into the cave. "If I want to get out alive, I better hurry, she thought".

Then she saw a small knife on the other side of the cave. "If I only could get to that", she thought. The footsteps were getting nearer. Quickly she jumped her chair around to the other side of the cave. When she was halfway, she saw Riley carefully entering the cave. "Riley", she shouted.

Angel and Spike walked across the graveyard, and entered the centre of Sunnydale. Giles lived on the other side of town. It was nighttime so everyone was alsleep and only an old man, sleeping in the park and trying to get warm under a newspaper saw them. But they weren’t hungry, so they didn’t bother him. They passed the Sunnydale high school and turned left. Then they entered the street where Giles’s apartment was. They hadn’t spoken since they had left to cave. They stopped for a moment and Angel said, "are you sure you want to do this" ?. "We have to to this", Spike said, then he turned and walked on. Angel waited for about 10 seconds, wondering if this was right, then he decided Spike was right and he followed him.

In Giles’s apartment Cordelia looked at the clock. Almost an hour ago they had left, so they would be back soon now. She had spent the time by trying to clean up most of the mess in the house and making her a nice cup of tea. Then she heard knocking on the door. She walked to the door and opened it. "You are back", she said. But then she shouted as she didn’t see Xander and Anya, or Riley standing at the door. "What you want", she asked.
